Profile
Dir. Namue Lee achieved her master’s degree of international affairs at NPSIA, Carleton University in
Canada. She worked as a high school teacher in Mongolia and was responsible for CEPA programs
at the UNDP/GEF Korea Wetland Project from 2007 to 2009. She also implemented tasks related to
the management of marine protected areas and maritime issues at Korea Marine Environment
Management Corporation for 6 years. She is interested in applying ecosystem service approaches for
integrated environmental management of transboundary areas. She supported to set up the
Ecosystem Services Partnership(ESP) Asia Regional Office in 2016 and has been carrying out
several projects related to Gyeonggi-do DMZ conservation, ecosystem services trainings, urban forest
ecosystem services, and ES policy applications.
