I am a government official, I graduated from Haramaya University in Ethiopia with a BSc. degree in Applied Biology, currently pursuing a Master s degree in the Program for Future Global Leaders in Environmental Policy at the International School of Urban Sciences, University of Seoul, South Korea. I have over seven years of experience within local government administra­ tive offices in Addis Ababa and five years in environmental pollution inspection, monitoring, and control at the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) of Ethiopia.

In my most recent role, I served as a senior expert in air pollution monitoring and control at the EPA under the Federal Demo­ cratic Republic of Ethiopia. I was responsible for developing, implementing, and managing national air quality monitoring strategies, coordinating regulatory policies, and engaging stakeholders under the Environmental Pollution Monitoring and Control Directorate.
