Jeju Special Self-Governing Province holds the Cyber Environment Forum every year in order to share various environmental information and to enhance the youths’ ability on solving environmental programs through the presentation and discussion on ‘The Role and Action of Youths for Environmental Conservation’.

This Forum, which was the fifth time this year, had began from a student's proposal to hold a forum during the dialogue between IUCN Director General and the Jeju students of environmental club when the Preparatory Committee on 2012 World Conservation Congress was held.

This year, Sun-Jin YUN, Professor at Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University, presented 'An Action of Youths for Realizing Sustainable Society', and 30 teams of youth panels proposed their ideas on one of the following sub-themes.

1) The Consciousness and Action of Youths on the Impact of Pursuing Living Convenience on Natural Environment
2) Development vs. Conservation for Sustainable Society from a Viewpoint of Youths
3) The Action of Youths for Clear Sky and Clean Air
4) The Action of Youths for Realizing Resource Circulation Society through Re-use of Waste
5) The Action of Youths for Maintaining Clean Water and Safe Sanitation
