Greetings to distinguished guests!


I am Mayor of China’s Suifenhe City Wang Jutang.

It gives me a great honor to be here today and to attend the 2013 Cyber Environment Forum of World Local Governments. On behalf of the Suifenhe City Government and its citizens, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on the opening of the 1st ENCYNET Environment Forum.  

Environmental protection is a joint responsibility of countries around the world. Realizing balance between the environment and economic development, as well as building a modern civilization where humans and nature coexist in harmony, are global buzzwords these days. 

The establishment of a platform called “Cyber Environment Network of World Local Governments” indicates that we are taking the first step together towards conservation of the global environment. Suifenhe City will make concerted efforts to open a new era in global environmental conservation through close cooperation with local governments of the world.  

In closing, I would like to express my appreciation to the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province which has spared no effort to arrange this Cyber Environment Form. I hope that this Forum will produce successful outcomes.
